“Open Seasion” is a realistic digital painting well achieved by Heri Irawan, featuring his most known signature by mixing fantasy into reality, be either the characters or scenario or the technique itself.

I wanted it to be a sort of classic portraiture of her, which I rendered first, and then I later thought it would be cool to frame her with a window shaped like a rising sandworm.
If you’re wondering why she is so colorful, it is because my readings of Herbert’s Dune has always used color very symbolically and very vividly to describe clothes.
