Líneas Monocromáticas

Líneas Monocromáticas from Manuel Galdon takes us in a journey towards a world of composition and volume through the view (or approach if you like) of the line. Wether deeply conceptualized or product of his own inspiration’s furor, Líneas Monocromáticas results in a study (despite it is monochrome) so warm and cozy in its forms.

Ka Xiong (Ghettomonk) perma-banned from dA?

I just found out that photo manipulation master Ka Xiong (a.k.a. Ghettomonk) is perma-banned from dA, just like a bad joke. We’ll see how this news develops. As we know Xiong has always posted W.I.P about how he gets the work done and it is legitimate, any thoughts?.

Updates & Improvements for our readers.

Since 19th June 2009 (the day the magazine was officially live up online) The Union has gone through lots of improvements, I have been adding a lot of features to make our readers happier at the moment of delivering them the contents and fulfilling a successful experience. Today the inclusion of several features are the reason of why we haven’t published anything today:

 • Working Hours + Contact Info + Chat: Our Magazine, despite the fact it is online, basically works like a regular magazine, we have working hours, contact addresses through phisical channels and we count with a chat to interact with our readers in different (usually extra hours) times of the day.
 • Become a fan: The Union has also settled in Facebook, we have a tag board in the left block at the bottom for you to show your support by becoming a Fan of our page. You will get updates right to your Facebook profile page.
 • Submissions: Now you can submit artwork for aproval from our editors. If approved, it will be most likely queued in the system’s list.

Remember, all of this is for you, dear reader, to get the best out of it; get in touch with me or post a comment if you have any suggestion or just a thought, anything is valid.

Sean Gordon in The Union

Most people have get to know Sean’s magnificent work, and he has become a quite well known name in the Comic Art Industry. But I’ve stumbled upon him for a complete different reason: A few months back he posted a text by the title of “Purple Dogs” wich inmediately got my attention, I started reading and couldn’t help myself to stop until I finished it. From there, I kept reading every text he published, now I have the honor to introduce those texts here at The Union. In the meantime you can check his website seangordonmurphy.com with his awesome work (wich we will be publishing in the near future).
